David Barnes 
Raised in Silicon Valley, Mr. Barnes learned the ins and outs of electronics and semiconductors at an early age. Twenty-five years of managing engineers, products and capital equipment businesses culminated in validation of first Pentium silicon. He was selected to value the AMLCD business of LG Electronics and to perform due diligence on its technology for Philips Electronics. As a key member of the deal team, Mr. Barnes stayed on in Korea to support the joint venture’s executives and to craft strategic plans. After developing the go-to-market strategy for the first KSE/NYSE dual listing, he joined DisplaySearch as VP of Strategic Analysis. In that capacity, Mr. Barnes assisted many clients with planning, funding and restructuring engagements before forming BizWitz.
Ian Hendy
Educated in mathematics and oriental languages at Cambridge, Ian Hendy honed his analytical skills with projects for Braxton clients before his MBA from Columbia Business School. Philips Electronics chose Mr. Hendy for the deal team that formed LG Display (formerly LG.Philips LCD). Other successful M&A assignments followed and he helped several businesses improve their sourcing of flat panels. Mr. Hendy formed his own consultancy in 2002 and continued providing expert advice to companies around the world. Hendy Consulting is based in the UK with associates in many countries.
