Cross-border JV Formation
Our principal consultants helped Philips form a joint venture with LGE at a valuation between $2 billion and $3 billion less than market expectations. They were active in many aspects of the venture and helped take LG.Philips LCD public, creating even more value for the two partners.
Global Restructure
CRT producers faced deteriorating market conditions as AMLCD fortunes rose. Debt holders of a leading CRT producer used market and cost analysis by BizWitz consultants to plan global restructure of the producer’s operations. In addition, they advised on asset sales.
Valuation and Funding Support
A consumer electronics manufacturer engaged a BizWitz principal to audit its plan for creating a new AMLCD company. Our principal issued expert opinions to lenders and obtained favorable rulings from the EU Commission that qualified the project for government grants.
